Desirable or Beneficial

The question isn't "Is this good for me?" The real question is "Is this GOD for me?"

This Sunday, we were challenged to stop seeking what's merely desirable and start pursuing what's truly beneficial for our walk with Christ. Like a bride waiting for her groom, we're called to live with expectancy—not for comfort, but for transformation. The early church didn't ask for health and wealth; they prayed "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

Truth that confronts us now prevents destruction later. God's Word isn't just meant to make us feel good—it's meant to train us, correct us, and equip us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Real love doesn't flatter; real love tells the truth. Are we building a crowd with positivity, or are we growing disciples with truth?

Stop drifting while thinking you're close to God. Get under authority. Fight for the truth. Let God's correction protect your future. The miracle you're waiting for is already in this house—but it requires surrender, not just desire.
