Jesus On Purpose: The Path Of A Resurrected Heart pt 13

Jesus was deliberate. Every miracle, every teaching, every moment was part of His mission to expose our hearts and show us the way to true life.

In Matthew 8-12, we see Jesus demonstrate faith without control (the centurion), compassion that interrupts death (the widow's son), and love that flows from forgiveness (the sinful woman). The centurion understood something the religious leaders missed: authority isn't proven by spectacle, but by the power to speak and have reality obey. He didn't need proof—just Jesus' word.

Here's the challenge: resurrection life isn't an abstract power—it's a FEELING that compels action. It's the visceral, motherly compassion that moves us to step into someone else's mess. Jesus confronts our need for control, our divided loyalties, and our spiritual blindness because He loves us enough to transform us.
